Tarot Reveals

The Tarot Spread refers to the way the cards are laid out when doing a Tarot Card Reading.

The cards are shuffles, usually by the person asking the question, although the reader may shuffle for the questioner, as when doing distance readings.  While shuffling the cards the questioner considers the question to be asked.  When the cards have been shuffled, the reader will lay them out in a particular format.  This may include as few as 3 or 5 cards, more generally between 9 and 20 cards, and sometimes all the cards.

The Tarot Spread that is used for the reading may be determined by the focus or topic of the reading.  There are Tarot Spreads for  card reading with a focus on Love or on Money or other specific areas.  There are Tarot Spreads that are used for more general readings.  Usually the spread will include cards to indicate the past influences, the current situation, mitigating factors, and the future possible outcomes – being possible, but not definite.
