Tarot Spreads are diverse in formation and application.  Of all the Tarot Spreads, the Celtic Cross is known as the most popular spread, and is regarded as providing precise and accurate tarot card readings and predictions.  It is one of the best known spreads and is said to connect with and focus on the spiritual core of the questioner.

The Tarot Spread of the Celtic Cross consists of ten cards.  These are split into two sections, thus defining the cross and staff.  The layout has six cards normally forming the cross and two cards that are positioned in the middle, with two on each side, then the remaining four cards are positioned in making up the staff.
